Implementation
Eclipsys, through its Practice Solutions organization (formerly MediNotes), has been providing highly functional, effective electronic health record (EHR) solutions for over a decade. In that time, we have developed an implementation approach that has virtually ensured the success of our clients.
Our Implementation Team plays an important role in each new EHR implementation, providing customized training to physicians based on practice size, specialty and the number of clinic locations. Customer needs are assessed based on specific details collected in their Eclipsys Practice Profile.
For new clients implementing MediNotes e™, a minimum of four (4) on-site training days and eight (8) hours of Internet training is recommended. During these sessions, physicians and their staff gain a better understanding of their new EHR, as well as prepare for the transition to a paperless practice.
For Eclipsys PeakPractice EMR/PM™ customers, we recommend at least four (4) days of on-site training and forty (40) hours of Internet training. If only PeakPractice PM™ is being implemented with an existing EHR system, forty (40) hours of Internet training will be necessary. During the PeakPractice training sessions, physicians and staff members will train on system features that they utilize most.
