"I've used Medinotes since 1998. When I started I was totally computed illiterate. One sales person joked that "if I could learn the program, anyone could". Now I can't imagine running my practice without it. I do 95-100% of the notes on it.
When I was new to Medinotes, a new patient with multiple problems and a long complicated history was easier to dictate, but over the years I find these patients fewer and fewer. I added a second doctor a year ago and he only uses Medinotes...never dictates. You will save LOTS of time, LOTS of money on dictation, and get better quality notes. Five minutes after the last patient leaves for the day, all the notes are done, referral letters written and everything is printed and in the chart. Just the ease of doing a few referral letters a day is probably worth the price. Support is outstanding, and the price is low for the total product you get. Having all your charts with you all the time on a laptop is frequently a real crisis saver in our 2-office practice."

This program is a template model that allows me to determine how the templates are constructed both in terms of my style of practice and the terminology I use. In addition, it gives me the ability to make changes on the fly as notes are being constructed.
