When New York Heart Center in Syracuse, New York chose MediNotes for their EMR solution in 2004, they faced the daunting challenge of getting everyone in their 16 physician, 9 nurse staff up to speed using the software in a short period of time. They chose to hire Allyson Hall as their MediNotes e “champion” to help do the job and it was an overwhelming success.

“My daily activities include checking for incomplete or duplicated notes in the system, as well as being available for whatever changes the physicians feel are necessary. My other responsibilities include all the template customization and on-going staff training as well as training new physicians and other staff.”

Cardiologists will find specialty content that focuses on treatment and diagnosis, as well as a wide variety of graphics to help with documentation.
